Fantastically friendly and welcoming, my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel before visiting Highgrove. The owner and his staff work very hard to ensure happy customers. Delicious food and good, popular bar, if visiting Tetbury again I would certainly book The Ormond.

The service was exceptional. The room was tidy and attractive with comfortable bed, vaulted ceiling and the bar, and all other comforts. Got delicious and generous breakfasts with a cappucino, bacon and a special cooked sausage. Location: the hotel was not far from the outskirts of the town, Tetbury and restaurant.

I loved the nearby Tetbury Police Museum, just a short stroll away, and the beautiful Royal Gardens at Highgrove. The warm atmosphere of the pub and the good food really enhanced my stay.

The Ormand is a treasure. It is a small boutique hotel/each room individually decorated. Comfortable, clean. Restaurant is excellent. Pub is sweet. Outdoor courtyard is delightful. Owner and staff couldn't be nicer. Tetbury is a charming town with neat shops.

The cream tea was a nice touch and we really enjoyed our dinner.
Our room was not cleaned when we were shown to it but was cleaned shortly after. The pillows were far too soft. During dinner, I asked for my burger to be well cooked as I am 5 months pregnant, but it came out still pink. I had to return it. Also I didn't like the fact that there was several flights of stairs to climb to get to our room. Also there were never staff at reception and we always had to go and find someone, especially on check out, we were waiting quite a long-time for someone to attend to us.

Pleasantly suprised by our room very clean and comfortable, the only downside was during the course of the evening fumes from the kitchen drifted into the room , causing discomfort to throat and eyes
The Breakfast menu was very limited,no choice of fresh fruit or yogurts no healthy options provided, although if you do enjoy a full english it looked very tasty

Although a short visit would definatlely go back , very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location. Decoration of rooms were fab.
Bit of a pain there is no parking.Bathrooms don't match the luxury of the bedrooms.

This hotel is excellent in all respects. It represents real value for money without any sacrifices. The staff were all excellent, the food could not be faulted and the chef deserves real praise. There was an excellent selection of real ales, all too often missing in modern hotels. The room was very clean and comfortable. All round excellence.
The only minor problem is that the hotel is without a car park. This can be fully understood as it is an old coaching inn with an arch too narrow for modern cars! This is most definitely not a complaint!

Excellent location - friendly comfortable bar.
Interesting choices of decor - the bedrooms and hallways were bordering on the outrageously garish obviously not subdued enough for all tastes and could be toned down a bit, however the bar area was more tasteful and in keeping with the town and age of the building. We booked a Superior Double room but were shown an attic room which was furnished as a French bordelo. On request we were able to change to something a little less flamboyant on the first floor which was adequate for our 3 night stay.
